While we strongly recommend a whole house or central air filtration system, we also recognize the need to have smaller room air purifiers for some of our clients. The following air purifiers have been tested and are presently used in our home and business. We have strict standards on ALL products we recommend to our Residential and Commercial clients and Room Purifiers have the following standards;

• Air Purifying Units that DO NOT produce OZONE, IONS, or CHEMICALS. A number of "Air Purifiers" use ionic action (such as Sharper Image) that does produce ozone, no matter how small the amount they say is produced. Sharper Image even includes a disclaimer regarding the ozone their units produce. See EPA regarding OZONE.

• Provides healthier indoor environments for people with allergies.

• Air Purifying Units must have independent studies with proven results, as stated on the manufacturers description and claimed results.

• Air Purifying Units must be easy to handle and install.

• Air Purifying Units must be safe to children, pets, elderly, and those that have respiratory illnesses to include severe allergy sufferers.

• Air Purifying Units must operate quietly.

• Air Purifying Units must have little to no maintenance.

• Air Purifying Units must have a no hassle warranty/guarantee.

• Manufacturer must be financially stable to stand behind their products.

• Manufacturer is readily available to our clients should they have questions or concerns.

Of all the units we have reviewed, tested, and PRESENTLY USE in our home and office, only ONE room air purifiers met the above criteria.
